Main Features
- Optimized Impeller Design: Featuring an innovative curved trajectory, the optimized design further enhances overall adiabatic efficiency and volumetric efficiency, resulting in excellent airflow and pressure characteristics.
- Low Vibration and Low Noise: The inlet and outlet shielding lines of the housing are cut in a spiral pattern, forming triangular inlet and outlet ports with the top line of the rotor. As the rotor rotates, these openings open sequentially, ensuring smoother operation and thereby reducing fan vibration and noise.
- Oil-Free Design: The structural design prevents bearing and gear lubricants from entering the housing, ensuring the working chamber remains oil-free. This guarantees clean air output and eliminates air pollution caused by oil mist.
- Compact Structure and Long Service Life: The compact design incorporates special bearings and oil seals, extending service life and facilitating maintenance and management.
- Stable Operation and Versatility: The impeller and shaft feature a split press-fit design, maintaining a minimal clearance between impellers to prevent contact. This ensures consistent fan performance and enables long-term continuous operation. While this product is generally used for air transport, it can be adapted to handle special gases such as coal gas, flammable, explosive, or toxic substances by simply changing the sealing configuration; please specify such requirements when placing an order.
- Performance Range: Airflow: 0.44 ~ 56.97 m³/min Static Pressure: 9.8 ~ 58.8 kPa
- Working Principle: The Roots blower is a positive-displacement blower; the air volume delivered is proportional to the rotational speed. With each rotation of the three-lobe impeller, two impellers perform three cycles of air intake and discharge. Compared to two-lobe impellers, this design results in reduced gas pulsation, minimal load fluctuations, high mechanical strength, low noise, and minimal vibration.
- Two rotors are mounted on two parallel shafts. A slight clearance is maintained at all times between the rotors, the inner surface of the elliptical housing, and the rotors themselves. As the rotors rotate at constant speed in opposite directions, a fixed volume of gas enclosed by the housing and rotors is transported from the intake side to the discharge side.
- In older Roots blowers, whether two-lobe or three-lobe types, the compression principle is as follows: the moment the top of the rotor opens toward the discharge port, the high-pressure air at the discharge port flows backward and is compressed within the housing. This backflow and compression cause severe pressure fluctuations, which are the source of the blower’s noise. To eliminate this factor, a spiral shape was developed for this blower. The figure below illustrates the key features of this blower’s spiral design:
