Main Features

Note:

It is not recommended to use aeration tubes in single lengths of tens of meters. Instead, use them in sections of a few meters each, paired with small connectors, end caps, and other accessories (typically configured as oxygen discs). Additionally, counterweights or secure fastenings are required; otherwise, the aeration tubes will float to the surface.

Explanation of Large vs. Small Bubbles

Small Bubbles: High-density, small bubbles provide high oxygenation efficiency and effectively increase dissolved oxygen levels. Disadvantages: Moderate flow resistance and moderate clog resistance. Prone to clogging in ponds with high silt content; replacement may be required.

Large Bubbles: Low density, larger bubbles, low flow resistance, and a loose tube structure. Offers better clog resistance than small bubbles.

Why does the aeration pipe get clogged? How to solve

  1. Scale buildup, primarily caused by sludge, debris, and other sediments clogging the microporous tubes.
  2. Extensive use of flocculants and other water-conditioning and bottom-improvement products in fish ponds.
  3. Microbial biofilm growth.

Solutions:

  1. Keep the microporous aeration system running continuously to ensure constant aeration.
  2. Use microporous tubes containing antimicrobial materials to address blockages caused by microbial biofilms.
  3. After a production cycle ends, soak the microporous tubes in a low-pH solution for 24 to 48 hours to resolve blockages caused by calcium carbonate precipitation.
  4. Reduce the use of water-conditioning and bottom-improvement products containing flocculants; in fact, these should only be applied at scheduled intervals.
